This Life set for return
A one-off special of This Life will air on screens later this year to mark a decade passing since the show first hit TV screens.Following the lives of a group of 20-something lawyers working in London, This Life gained mass popularity with its handheld camera approach and rollercoaster emotional journeys.A total of 32 episodes were broadcast during 1996 and 1997, with a tearjerking finale shocking viewers. In the 90-minute feature, one of the characters has become a commercial success after writing a book based on their friendship and a TV company is keen to film the group's reunion.Series one and two will be broadcast before the feature so that This Life fans can thoroughly indulge in the comeback.Amy Jenkins, creator and chief writer of the series as well as the one-off special, This Life - Ten Years On, said: "It's ten years on and there have been big changes in the characters' lives. They're no longer in the waiting room of life - but out there on centre stage. The question is - do people really change?"
